Within the framework of the Erasmus + STEM project, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University held the first STEM festival with the participation of teachers, undergraduates of M. Auezov SKU and teachers and students of schools in Shymkent and Turkestan region.
Project manager at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University , Associate Professor of the Department of Physics Gaukhar Omashova made a welcoming speech to the participants of the festival.
Doctoral student of the Department of Informatics Malika Karatayeva made a report "Methodological foundations of training future teachers of informatics for the implementation of STEM education". Master student of the MEP-20-3nk group Baumuratova Sholpan made a report on the topic: "Using the Bootstrap library in web programming."
The teacher of the specialized boarding school No. 4 of the Saryagash district of the Turkestan region Zhuzbayev Arman Kasimbekovich and his students Amangeldy Abaykhan Yerlanuly, Sagi Kydyrbai Seidakhmaduly made a presentation "Development of the project "SMART School" using Arduino devices".
Teacher Turanov Akzhol Kaldarovich and student Saduakhasov Asylbek Usenuly from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School (NIS) of Physics and Mathematics direction in Shymkent spoke about their work on their project "Optimizing the work and increasing the productivity of the greenhouse economy through research and implementation of the Arduino program".
A report on the topic "Study of the motion of an abandoned horizontal body with the help of virtual work" was prepared by the teacher of the Department of Physics Batrbek Dana and the project participant, associate professor of the Department of Physics Polat Saidakhmetov.
Master student of the MEP-20-2nk group Zharmukhanbetov Serik made a report "Temperature dependence of the ability of the Pelte element to generate current."
Master student of the department "Informatics" of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Kurakbai Olzhas made a report on the topic "Sports robotics".
Associate professors M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University Zhaidakbayeva L., Omasheva G. and Adyrbekova G. held a STEM - hackathon for students, undergraduates and teachers of the Natural Science Pedagogical Higher School of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University. They presented their presentations using STEM directions in an interdisciplinary direction in physics, ecology, robotics, programming. A quiz about air and environmental protection from pollution was organized using the Kahoot mobile application.
Associate professors of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University Zhaidakbayeva L., Omasheva G. and Adyrbekova G. continued the STEM - hackathon. Very informative speeches and presentations were made about the "Green Alternative Economy", the use of robots in a pandemic. Students, undergraduates and teachers of the Natural Science Pedagogical Higher School of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University took part.
